trail is the Paul Bunyan State Trail. The Brainerd Lakes Area hosts the
trailhead and more than 30 miles of this Minnesota premier rails-to-trails system,
which runs from Brainerd to Bemidji. Communities along the trail, which
typically can be found within every 10 miles, offer great opportunities to
shop, grab a bite to eat, make a repair, buy or rent equipment, and even stay
